Job Overview
As a Senior Product Designer at PressOne, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our telecommunications products and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences. We are looking for a passionate and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for PressOne’s telecommunications products and services, from concept development to final implementation.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project goals, user needs, and design requirements.
- Conduct user research, user testing, and usability studies to gain insights and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing results, and analytics data to continuously improve product usability and performance.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and maintain design integrity throughout development.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous learning within the team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital projects and design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively.
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Figma, Proto.io) and user testing methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
