Job Overview

As a Partnership Specialist at PressOne Africa's, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and expanding our partnership ecosystem. You will be responsible for continuously improving our partnership practices, growing our portfolio of partners, and driving go-to-market plans to unlock expansion opportunities. Your focus will be on approaching new accounts to fulfill key business KPIs, researching market trends for collaboration opportunities, and managing the partnership pipeline. Additionally, you will design, manage, and execute partnerships that contribute to PressOne Africa's B2B/B2C/B2G acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational pillars.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
    • Approach new accounts strategically to fulfill essential business KPIs.
    • Research and analyze the market to identify collaboration opportunities.
    • Manage the partnership pipeline and generate leads for new partnerships.
  • Partnership Execution:
    • Design, manage, and execute partnerships that support PressOne Africa’s B2B/B2C/B2G acquisition goals.
    • Align partnership collaborations with organizational activities, ensuring support for each pillar’s expanding partnership opportunities.
  • Public Outreach and Communication:
    • Assist PressOne in approaching new partners for public outreach, press releases, public presentations, and website linking.
    • Coordinate activities of the Partnership, working closely with governmental organizations, private sector business interests, non-profit and educational institutions.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Handle all new career events, summits, job fairs, and internal/external communication related to partnerships.
    • Lead all communication with new partners or strategic entities.
  • Collaboration Project Management:
    • Follow up on external delivery/execution of collaboration projects, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon processes.
    • Develop best practices for internal delivery based on external partnerships.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership efforts with overall team strategy.
    • Based on internal and external analysis, develop tactics to increase income and awareness through partnership collaborations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Perform regular internal/external analysis to identify areas for improvement in partnership practices.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase income and awareness through partnerships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and research skills for identifying collaboration opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving business KPIs.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of B2B/B2C/B2G acquisition strategies is a plus.
