We recently introduced the Network Bar feature on the PressOne web portal and the iOS QuickCall mobile app. This feature lets you check your internet speed directly within the app. You’ll now be able to see how fast or slow your connection is, making it easier to avoid any network issues that might interrupt your work.

ToggleWhat are the benefits of the New Network Bar?
- See your internet speed in real time: Now you can easily check your connection speed right in the app to know if it’s strong enough for making or receiving calls. As a customer support agent, you can know the strength of your network connection before you join an important call.
- Prevent disconnection during important conversations: Keep an eye on your network to make sure your calls don’t get interrupted. If you’re on an important business call, you can quickly identify any connection issue and find a backup plan. For example, if a customer says their call keeps dropping, the support agent can check their network speed on the dashboard to see if there’s an issue and bring up a backup solution to keep the call connected.
- Quickly identify network issues: If there’s a problem with your connection, you’ll know right away whether it’s from your side so you can fix it immediately. For instance, if a customer says the call is lagging, the support agent can check their network speed on the dashboard to see if the network is stable from their end or if the issue is from the customers end so they can quickly fix up.
How does the New Network Bar work?
For Agents
- Log into your PressOne account https://web.pressone.africa/sign-in
- You will see the green network bar icon on the right top corner of your screen. Hover around it to see your network speed.
For Managers
1. Log into your PressOne manager’s dashboard.
2. Scroll down on the left side bar menu and find the network bar icon.
3. Hover around it to see your internet speed.
