Chapter 1: You Can Now See the Road Before You Drive


Network Status Dashboard

A few weeks ago, we shipped something

We introduced the Network Status Dashboard, giving you a live view of how MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile/T2 are actually performing. This is the first of its kind.
Now you can see what’s happening behind your calls. You can tell when that delivery guy is lying about your MTN not going.

Check it when calls are cutting. In seconds, you will know whether to redial or wait. If all networks are showing normal and your calls are still failing, please reach out to us immediately.

Chapter 2: Airtime and Subscription Are Not the Same Thing

We got a lot of questions and requests about this in the past week, so let’s break it down.
What is the difference between Your Pressone Subscription and Airtime?

Your subscription is what keeps your PressOne account active and everything running. (call history, recordings, transcripts, contacts, and team data, etc.).

Your airtime is the credit you use to make calls. It is also where your AI credits are taken from. Your coaching scores, call transcripts, and AI analysis all run on your airtime.

Think of it like this: your subscription is Netflix. Your airtime is your data. Even with a Netflix subscription, you can’t stream your shows without data. Airtime gets used as you make a call, like fuel in your car, while a subscription is like the recurring fixed rent. It must be renewed on a monthly or yearly cycle.

One thing worth knowing: you can pay for your subscription with your airtime balance if you have enough airtime to cover it.

Chapter 3: Juliet- Your Reliable WhatsApp Staff that Does Not Go on Leave

Several businesses have hired Juliet on WhatsApp ( Some named her Rihanna), and the feedback has been consistent.

Chapter 4: A Hard Call on Accounts with Outstanding Invoices

PressOne loves its customers. For accounts with outstanding invoices, including some owing across two billing cycles, we did not cut access immediately. We extended trust because we believe anyone using PressOne shares our values of transparency, integrity, accountability, structure, and proper business operations. We trusted that commitments would be honoured.

We have now reached the point where we can no longer carry that cost. Some affected accounts have been disconnected since April 10, and the final round of disconnections is being completed today, Friday, April 17.

Affected businesses will see invoices for unpaid access days upon renewal to retain their data, call history, recordings, and contacts.

We held the door open as long as we could.

Chapter 5: Janet Is the Manager’s Best Kept Secret

Janet is your in-app support agent, available to attend to your team’s needs on PressOne at any time. But to you, as a manager, she is far more valuable. She is your PA. The one never misses anything and always tells you the truth because it is important.
